The short answer

hipages sells four plans: Starter $139, Advanced $249, Premium $449 and Platinum $649 a month plus GST, carrying 155 to 850 lead credits a month. The plan is only the entry price: every lead you accept is paid for in credits whose price moves with demand, each lead goes to up to three businesses, and the contract runs a 6-month introductory term then auto-renews for 12 months at a time.

hipages itself reported subscription revenue of $2,475 a year per subscribing business in FY26, up 9%, across 36.4k subscribers. That is the average tradie's real annual spend.

What the plan does not tell you

What a lead and a won job really cost

Independent estimates put a typical hipages lead at $25 to $80 for most categories and the subscription at $200 to $600 a month, which lands the real cost per booked job at $150 to $400 before subscription fees. Only the credit price printed on each job in the app, and your own quote-to-job rate, give you your number.

hipages cost per won job calculator

Pick the plan, type what a lead costs you in credits (it is printed on each job in the hipages app) and how often a quote turns into a job. The tool divides the plan price by the jobs that buys. GST is on top of every hipages figure.

Between 20% and 35% of the job: borderline. Credits per lead and the win rate are yours to set: hipages prices each lead in credits that move with demand, and only your own history tells you how often a quote becomes a job.

Win-rate presets are the 1 in 8, 1 in 5 and 1 in 3 benchmarks from the cited guide; the credits-per-lead default is the lower of the 42 to 75 credits one reviewer reports. hipages does not publish a dollar price per lead, so the only true inputs are your own.

The scale is not comparable and we do not pretend it is: hipages serviced 60.4k businesses and made 2.7m business-household connections in FY26. WTD is a cost-guide site that sends the homeowners who price a job on it to one or two local tradies.

Frequently asked questions

How much is hipages per month for tradies?

Four plans: Starter $139, Advanced $249, Premium $449 and Platinum $649 a month plus GST, with 155 to 850 lead credits a month. Leads are then paid for in credits.

How much does a hipages lead cost?

hipages does not publish a dollar price. Each lead is priced in credits that move with trade, location, job size, urgency and demand. Independent estimates put most leads at $25 to $80, and one reviewer saw the credits for a lead move from about 42 to 75 in a year.

Is hipages a contract?

Yes. Membership starts on a 6-month introductory term and then auto-renews for 12 months at a time; cancelling mid-term can make the remaining fees fall due. You have seven days to cancel when you join or renew if you have not accepted a lead.

Does hipages take a commission?

No. hipages takes no percentage or commission of the job value; you pay the plan and the credits.

If the sums above say hipages costs more per won job than you want to pay, WTD pay-per-lead is the other model: from $25 a lead, SMS-screened, no subscription, and a maximum of two tradies see each job. Or claim a territory outright for $250 a month, first month free, cancel anytime.
