What moves the price

Registered or unregistered provider?

Agency-managed participants must use NDIS-registered providers. Registered providers are audited against the Practice Standards and must observe price limits.

Self-managed and plan-managed participants can engage unregistered providers, which widens choice; price limits still apply to plan-managed funds.

How to keep the cost sane

1
Check the line item on every invoice against the NDIS Support Catalogue and the Pricing Schedule maximum
2
Agree weekday, evening and weekend price limits in the service agreement before support starts
3
Ask how provider travel and cancellations are charged: both are claimable within limits

Our Methodology

Prices on this page are compiled from publicly available cost guides, marketplaces, peak industry body data, and individual provider websites across Australia. We cross-reference ranges from multiple sources and adjust for city-specific cost differences based on advertised rates, salary data, and cost-of-living indicators. Our price guides are produced independently. Pricing is compiled from public quotes, industry rate guides, and marketplace data, and no provider can influence a published figure. All prices are estimates and will vary based on your specific job. Always get multiple quotes. Last reviewed September 2026. Read our full methodology →
