What Affects Insulation Costs in Sydney
Houses, units and strata
Almost a third of Sydney dwellings are flats or apartments (30.7%, against 14.2% nationally), and 55.8% are separate houses (ABS 2021 Census). In an apartment, only a top-floor home has a roof cavity above it, and that space generally belongs to the strata scheme, so the owners corporation must approve the work first. House owners have the full choice of ceiling, wall and underfloor.
