Licensed and on the register
Gasfitting is one of the trades the ACT licenses, alongside building, electrical, plumbing and drainage work, and Access Canberra maintains the public registers for business licences, gasfitters included. Work done without a licence is illegal and leaves no certificate behind to show an insurer or a buyer. Tested, then certified
